Summons- Rules and Guides Empty Summons- Rules and Guides

Summons are automatically given to Jounin and Kage level ninja, but can be gained by Chuunin and Genin by preforming a special summon gaining mission.
Only one Summoning contract is allowed per character. For example if you choose to summon mountains similar to Jiraiya and Naruto, you cannot gain a second contract.

1. Only one summoning contract is allowed to one character, unless your awarded a special summoning contract of a special animal. Weapons may also be summoned, but powerful weapons cost more chakra to summon.

2. The level of your summon is directly proportional to your ninja level. Slightly obvious, however the staff doesn't want to see a genin think he is Naruto and summon a boss summon such as Gamabunta. For clarification below are the ninja ranks and their equivalent summon size and strength.

Genin: May have some small animals or even human sized animals from their contract. These summons have 1 element. They also can summon a few Kunai and Shuriken.
Chuunin: May summon larger animal roughly 10-20ft in size. These animals have 2 elements. May summon two genin summons. They may also summon Bombs and Large weapons and 50-100 Kunai and Shuriken
Jounins: May summon even larger summons ranging from 30-40ft. Can summon two summons of chuunin level or their equivalent in genin summons. They can also summon special weapons, spears and 200-300 kunai or shuriken.
S-ranked Ninja - Sannin, High Level Jounin, Kage etc: May Summon the Boss summon of their specific contract. They may also summon two summons of the previous ranks or their equivalent in chuunin and genin summons. Can summon magical weapons (that are awarded) and 500 kunai or shuriken.
Note: characters can summon a maximum of 4 summons in a topic

3. Each character may have a specific summon unique to them which grows over time becoming stronger as the ninja becomes stronger. E.g Kakashi's Nin-dogs. These summons require more information than the standard summon template, and is included in this post.

4. Use some realism when summoning multiple lower rank summons or even boss summons. Higher ranked summons require some sort of sacrifice or respect of their owner e.g Manda requires a hundred human sacrifices. Summoning lots of lower ranked summons can cause a large loss of chakra. Making ridiculous summon amount such as 100 Jounin level summons is G-modeing and infringement of the rules. This will result in warning from the staff, and may even mean you lose your summon.

5. A summon from a family may be held by more that one character but to do so you must contact someone who already holds a contract with that summon to sign in yourself.

6. While two summon families with the same species may not be made, a personal summon you raised yourself outside than family may be created.

7. A summon family must have at least 4 to 5 summons from the species to be complete. Less than that should be treated as personal summons.

Summoning Template - Standard

Animal Type: [Personal or Full Summon Family]
Name: [Name of the Summons]
Physical Description: [Physical description of summons, generalization does not have to be very long 3-5 lines min]
Summon Requirements: [All summons require blood, however stronger summons may have additional requirements. Jounin+ and Boss Summons must have extra.]
Species: [Species of animal summoned]
Rank: [This usually relates to its skill level and/or size]
Story: [How you came into possession of the summon. 3-5 lines min]
Special Characteristics: [Any special abilities your summoning might have.]
Elemental Affinity: [Does your summon have an elemental affinity]
Signatory's: [Listed names of people who have signed contact or Clan who holds contract.]

Jutsu List [Include a list of jutsu your summons may use]

Legendary Creatures, Gods, Immortal Beings, etc. Aren't acceptable summons. Only natural creatures, or creatures from Japanese mythology, are allowed as summonings. Dragons will be awarded to a chosen few.

Note from owner: All summons will be check over thoroughly, so please be sure to follow anything that is listed here.... As well be sure to be careful on what creature you choose, for the moment you choose it the contact belongs to you until it dies with you or is pass down to another student/sibling.
